7 Things about me:

1. When I first started college I had no idea what I wanted to major in. All I have ever wanted to be was a wife and a mommy! Mr. Love decided he wanted to be a teacher and coach so unfortunately that wouldn't bring in enough money to allow me to be a stay at home mom. After many prayers and much thought I decided I wanted to teach Family and Consumer Science classes (home economics.) I want to teach topics that include nutrition, menu planning, food preparation, clothing care and construction, money management, consumer awareness, and child development. Topics that I love! Being a teacher I will be home during the summer with my children, I will also get off work the same time as they do, and I will be able to teach "lifeskills" things that everyone should know. I would also eventually like to start teaching adult education classes. I'm so happy with my decision and I'm truly blessed I have this opportunity.

2. Over the summer I have started putting my recipes together and would eventually like to create a cook book.

3. I have a slight obsession with Goldendoodles. But can you blame me?

4. I absolutely love mexican food. It's my weakness. I actually ate mexican for dinner last night! Mr. Love and I almost eat mexican once a week. We really need to stop. haha

5. I have to create a list for everyday. I have to have a plan. I feel very uncomfortable with out knowing what I have to do or where I have to be. I know it's weird. I'm not a fly by the seat of your pants kinda girl ha!

6. I'm getting married next summer!!! Hopefully June 5th but we are not for sure yet. I have to call and see if the church is open that weekend. I CAN'T WAIT. It's all I think about.

7. My newest hobby is cake decorating. Okay well I'm interested in learning to cake decorate. I would love to do my own wedding cake but that probably won't happen. That would be to much stress.... I have been buy magazines and researching strategies. Once I get brave enough I actually do a cake I'll put pictures up. Ha... maybe not it depends how embarrassing it is.

I hope everyone has learned a little about me! Since I have just started blogging a couple of weeks ago I actually don't have 7 followers yet :( But I love all of the followers I do have a I tag all of them with the Kreativ award.

9/25-9/27 weekend

This weekend has been amazing!
We ate Mexican for dinner and then went to Mr. Loves schools homecoming football game. One of his favorite students is a great player on the team. I love looking at all the dresses! After the game we went to our BFF's house. They recently got married and got a duplex similar to ours. We stayed up until 2 playing games. Have you ever heard of Loaded Questions? It's sooo fun. They also surprised me with a ice cream birthday cake! They are the best.
Mr. Love went to basketball practice while I got ready to start our day. We meet my parents about 30mins away and rode with them to Murray. This is my brothers freshman year and this weekend was family weekend. We had soo much fun letting M. show us around. We went to dinner and to Murray's football game.
The family

We wasted time ha! I made a list of everything I wanted to get done today and only about 3 of the things listed have been completed. I went to the grocery this morning. Saved about 20$ in coupons!!! Mr. Love has been watching football allllll day and I'm about to go insane. I made cookies and bagged grapes and carrots for the FACED bake sale tomorrow. Mr. Love and I went shopping for a new grill but was unsuccessful. And... that's about it. Tonight is the season premier of Desperate Housewives and I can't wait. Actually Mr. Love can't wait either. He secretly loves that show just as much as I do ha!

The spa is calling my name

One of my biggest weaknesses is buying OPI nail color. I don't know what it is but I just can't help to buy EVERY pinkish redish color I can find. This afternoon I will be treating myself a pedicure using my newest color, DS Reflection... kind of a boring name I know. I think it's the perfect fall color. What are your favorite colors? Brands?

It's that time again!

Oh Fall, I have missed you... welcome back! My count down has ended, yesterday was the first official day of fall and I couldn't help but to have a wonderful day. I love everything about the fall season. First, my birthday (which is tomorrow), then the leaves changing colors, cooler temperatures, pumpkins, carmel apples, and lastly Thanksgiving (one of my favorite holidays). I love to drive down the street and see peoples houses decorated with pumpkins and hay bales. I love to entertain in the fall. Isn't that center piece incredible? Oh... and I also love fall clothes. I always feel like I look much better in those colors. Over the past couple of years Mr. Love and I have gone to Jackson's Orchard and picked our pumpkin from the patch. We spend the day enjoying carmel apples and going for hay bale rides. I can't wait to do it again this year.

For many reasons I have decided to start blogging. I would like to think of this as a online diary. My hope is for this to help me remember and keep memories as I am going through an exciting time in my life. As well as hopefully meet many new friends who will also be sharing exciting fun times in their lives.

I have dated the love of my life for a little over 5 years now. He just graduated in May and hasn't been able to get a teaching position yet. He started substitute teaching in August and was offer a "long term" sub position for someone who went on maternity leave.

I was originally going to be doing my student teaching next semester and graduating this May however for many reasons I have recently decided to pick up a minor which will take me an extra semester to complete the program.

After a long and complicated situation we have just moved in together. We have always said we wanted to wait to live together until after we were married but that didn't happen and we are okay with that. Over the last couple of weeks we have really turned a house into a home that we both love.

Mr. Love and I are getting married next summer. Since we have been dating for so long and now live together we obviously talk about it and have decided that next summer we will tie the knot! I'm not officially engaged yet but I know it is coming. I hate to think about it because I don't want to ruin the surprise but I just can't help it! I would guess that within the next month or so I will be sporting a new piece of bling bling.
