One of my favorite things in life...

PAMPERED CHEF!!!! Who doesn't love it, right?

Husby is the volleyball coach at his high school. We just love these girls. They are so inspiring!  Husby's school is a very low income school and the volley ball team has NOTHING. I mean uniforms...notta. No money to do anything.
So this year I have teamed up with a friend of mine for a fundraiser. The team gets 30% of whatever pampered chef they sale. And I have a deal for you all... For every person who purchases ANYTHING, even the cheapest thing in the catalog. You will be entered into my giveaway! It will be a random drawing. The winner will be announced next Friday, August 19th. The winner of the drawing will receive 2 of my favorite items; the AMAZING Mix 'N Chop and the new Chili Lime Rub (delish)
If any of you would me interested in purchasing something so to  http://www.pamperedchef.biz/tinapetty. Click "Shop Online" and under # 1, type Brittany. Make sure to have the items shipped to you unless you live close to me and if that is the case I'll bring it to you!
I really appreciate any of your help as I am DETERMINED to get these girls uniforms this year!

I LOVE you all SOOOO much and I hope you all are having a fabulous Monday!
Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Goin' to the Chapel!

A wedding day is so special and it means so much when someone asks you to be apart of their day. Husby and I were blessed to be a witness of Chelsea and Adam. Husby was Adam's best man in the wedding. What an honor? Husby, the groom and 5 other guys all have gone to school together since the 1st grade. They have been best friends for the past 20 years. They have adopted us wives into the club... thank goodness ;) This group of friends are more like family. I just love have such amazing people in our lives.

The wedding was absolutely beautiful. I loved her colors. Don't you?

Husby did such a great job on his speech!

I love the classic theme she had. Just beautiful!

Homemade Poppy Seed Dressing!

This isn't a great picture but the recipe is too tasty not to share!

Strawberry Spinach Salad
1 pound spinach, trimmed
1 pint strawberries, cut into slices
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
1 1/2 teaspoons minced onion
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup almonds

Rinse the spinach and pat dry. Toss the spinach and strawberries in a large salad bowl. Process the sugar, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, onion, Worcestershire sauce, paprika and vinegar in a blender. Add vegetable oil gradually, procession constantly. Pour over the spinach mixture and toss to coat. Sprinkle with almonds. Serve immediately.

I love to make the poppy seed dressing on the weekends and take it with me for lunch all week long!

Just a Swingin'

Alright friends, what is your favorite part of a swing set; the tire swing, monkey bars or slide?

I love tire swing! My grandparents had a tire swing when I was growing up and I have the best memories of playing with all my cousins on it. In fact, every time I go to my grandparents I always think about the long summers of playing outside and fighting over whose turn it was on the swing.

Happy Monday!

Happy Monday Ya'll!!!
Can you all believe it is August 1st? I sure can't. Where has this summer gone??
Although, this summer has been ah-mazing, I'm still SOOOO ready for fall.
I have a crazy week ahead of me. Lots of work and a little play. I 'm having a dinner party on Wednesday but other than that this week is going to be no time for fun.

On another note, I'm looking for a new book to read. Have any of you all read "The Help"? The movie looks fabulous and I have heard the book is also really good. What other suggestions do you all have?
I'm normally not a huge book reader but for some reason I feel that reading a book might help me to feel like I am having some 'me' time. And at this point I REALLY need some 'me' time. I feel like I have been working so stinkin much lately!

What do you all have going on this week??
