Eyelet Garter

I have always been a fan of eyelet, I think it's so classy and elegant. Last night B and I went to BigLots to pick up a few things and as I always am, I was on the look out for anything I think we could use for the wedding when I came across this Martha Stewart Eyelet Garter. It's perfect! And... is was on clearance for $2.

This picture totally doesn't justify how cute it is.



I also found that Martha Stewart carries many other eyelet wedding items. I might see about finding the flower girl basket on eBay.

    I also will be heading to Big Lots to look for some little goodies for the wedding day. Lucky you to find some stuff there that you love! Hope I also find some good treasures.

    I have the same garter! I'm using it as my throw garter and I posted about how I embellished it here: http://soontobemrsf.blogspot.com/2009/11/every-little-bit-helps.html

    AND they were selling the basket and ring bearer's pillow together for $2 as well at Big Lots, so try to find it there before buying it on ebay! I bought 2 of them since I have 2 flower girls, but I might end up not using them. But even if I do, I could ship one of the sets to you right after the wedding if you want!

    Oh my Laura that would be awesome! I looked for the flower girl basket and the ring bearer's pillow but they didn't have them at our BigLots! I could totally buy them from you if you wouldn't mind and if you weren't going to use them. I love how you added the ribbon to your garter. The pink you used is very similar to the pink I'm also using. Let me know if you are interested in shipping the basket and pillow.

    Yea, that's no problem! I may use them, but I'll make sure any embellishing I do (probably the same ribbon I added to the garter) is easily removable just in case you don't like it. :) Our wedding is June 12, so I can ship them out right after if I decide to use them, and if I don't, I'll ship them as soon as I decide!

    I love it, eyelet is so pretty and classic looking! You know I only go to Big Lots when I am home and my GiGi makes me take her there for bread. I dread it but I may have to go and actually look around next time!
