So Friday Mr. Love proposed. After we went to dinner and a concert we went to my best friends apartment who lives in Nashville and who was dieing to see the ring!
Saturday morning I went to get an (already planned) pedicure with one of my friends. After that we packed our bags and went home to stay at our parents house for the rest of the weekend. I couldn't wait to get home and show everyone. Mr. Loves mom took us to dinner in celebration of our engagement. We then went to a friends house and hung out for a while.
Sunday I went to my first bridal show with my step mom and 2 of my friends tagged along. After the bridal show Mr. Love picked me up and we went to his grandparents for lunch. All of his family was there to congratulate us. We then went to the hospital to visit my grandparents and then headed back to our house.
This weekend has been amazing. I have no words to explain the excitement that I am feeling. I always knew I would marry Mr. Love but once he proposed it was a completely different feeling. The love that we share feels so deep and ahh.... I don't even know how to explain it. I'm just so happy :)
On to other things....
I would like to warn you that I'm going wedding crazy. I'm so excited for everything I just want to do it all right now! I'm sorry if I annoy the crap out of you for the next year constantly talking wedding stuff hehe!
Mr. Love and I will be making our final decisions on the wedding party today or tomorrow. I am looking for ideas on how to ask my girls to be bridesmaids. How did you do it? Have you heard of anything cute????
Today I calling to see about reserving the church for our wedding that will be next summer.
Tonight I'm cooking dinner for friends.
Mr. Love and I are finalizing our wedding party and then hopefully asking them.
Tomorrow and Friday one of my classes are cancelled.
That's about all I know of thus far. I hope you all have an enjoyable week. Ahhh.... I love my life!
First off, congrats again!!
ReplyDeleteI asked my brides to be my bridesmaid on a cookie. They all thought it was the most creative and fun idea that they had never seen before. In fact, they all still have their cookies in their freezers (they dont want to get rid of them). Here is the link to the personalized cookie....

Brittany, congrats!!! I can't wait to hear all your wedding planning. You won't annoy me!
ReplyDeleteI just called my BM and asked them lol..nothing too special but they were all my sisters (and SIL) so that was special for me. Congrats again girl!
Congrats!!! I'm in the midst of planning as well. Its sooo much fun. I like Ashley's idea of the cookie. I actually was going to do that with a local baker, but instead I went the DIY route. It was hard work and didn't come out exactly as I planned, but they were cute none-the-less. Check out the link below. There paper doll cards.
